Summary

The project will investigate the feasibility of using computer science in the development of technology that will impact neuromechanical systems, with the introduction of machine learning applications to reduce tremors in Parkinson’s disease patients.

Outcome

This project aims to develop electrical muscle stimulation sleeves to provide a more compact, accurate and convenient method for alleviating tremors in Parkinson’s Disease in the form of an electrical muscle stimulation sleeve. This will be achieved through the use of digital sensors and machine learning applications, to monitor the frequency and alleviate tremors.
