Summary

The project aims to develop a sophisticated behaviour analysis system, through the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning application, to monitor and prevent the early stages of cyber-suicide and suicidal ideation in real life. The project will look at the scientific field of neurology and the technological field of ICT (Information and communication technology), specifically the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications in an academic facility.

The technological advance involved in suicide detection has drawn the attention of many technology companies due to an increase in suicide rates in recent years and has been studied broadly from many perspectives.
